CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Answer Sheet Evaluation to be Started on Tuesday
Due to COVID19 precautionary measures, CBSE on March 18 has suspended the evaluation work of the answer sheets of Class X and XII board examinations. On May 9, 2020, the Ministry of Home Affairs has granted special permission to the evaluation of answer sheets and transportation of answer sheets to the residents of evaluation excluding the contaminated zones.
The answer sheet evaluation has been resumed and the pending exams of class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted between July 1 to July 15.
Exam dates for final year students of Maharashtra colleges will be announced soon
JNU has released the new academic calendar which states competitive exams will be conducted before July 31, 2020. On Saturday, JNU vice-chancellor M. Jagadesh Kumar said, the new academic calendar has been agreed by all the deans of school and chairpersons of special centers.
As per the latest updates from JNU officials, “ Students of JNU can expect the reopening between July 25 and July 30. Most importantly, students can except the remaining academic components and completion of exams by July 31, 2020. Besides, the new academic schedule commences from August 1, 2020.

Higher Education Minister of Maharashtra, Uday Samant announced that “All final year exams will be conducted between July 1 and 30 whereas other year students will be promoted to the next academic year.“
As per the latest update from Uday Samant, “All university students, excluding the final year will be promoted to the next academic year by respective universities. Whereas for the final year students, exams will be rescheduled between July 1 and 30,”
NITIE Joins with Edu Firms to Conduct Online Exams

As per the latest update from NITIE Director, Manoj Kumar Tiwari, students were exposed to online demo test for over two days to get comfortable with this new way of giving exams online.
NITIE, a top B-schools in India has tied up with Edu-tech company for conducting their exams online for students amid the coronavirus-forced lockdown.
NITIE Director states, “The examination was conducted in a quite innovative way. Students were able to appear for the exam comprising of a mix of MCQs, short and long descriptive questions.”

HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had a live session today with students. The Minister made some important announcements that include NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 Exam dates, board exam dates, reopening of colleges, etc.
As per his live session, the HRD minister made an important announcement that JEE Main exam dates will be held between July 18, 2020, and 23, 2020. While the NEET 2020 exam will be held on July 26, 2020.
Webinar Sessions for Law Courses- School of Law, Bennett University

On Monday, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that exam dates of class X and XII board exams conducted by Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be rescheduled after May 17.

Academic Calendar for Classes 9 and 10- HRD

HRD Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has released the alternative academic calendar for classes 9 and 10. The alternative academic calendar is framed by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) under the guidance of the MHRD.
Pokhriyal said, “The alternative calendar provides guidelines on the usage of various online tools for imparting education in fun-filled, interesting ways, which can be used by learners, parents, and teachers even while at home”.

The University is planning to go with online exams after it gets approval from the UGC and HRD ministry on this matter. The Dean of Examination, Dr. Vinay Gupta told Times of India “We see online examinations as the only way to conduct examinations, especially in times when students shouldn’t leave their houses. But the final decision can only be taken after a committee report”.

MHT CET Exam Dates will be Rescheduled after Lockdown Ends

As per the 2020 academic calendar, Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell 2020 was planned to be conducted from April 13 to 23, 2020. Due to the extension of the nationwide lockdown exam has been postponed.

BMC conducts live broadcast for Lottery Admission

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) education department conducted a new admission process ie., “lottery admissions”. New Academic Calendar for 2020-21 released by UGC

WB Class 10 Result Date will be announced after Covid-19 lockdown ends

Announcement of WB Class 10 results will be scheduled only after the lockdown ends, said Education Minister Chatterjee.
Chatterjee mentioned to reporters on Wednesday that, “The evaluation process of papers is almost complete and the rest of the job won’t take much time once normalcy returns. We will decide accordingly,”. He also stated that” We will prioritize completing the HS exam process first after June 10”.

CBSE Class 10 Board Exams Cancelled? Check Latest News

To clear the confusion on whether the CBSE Board Exams 2020 is canceled or not, CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathy set a meeting with news channel stating that, “As the minor subjects of Class 10 Board exams were pending, it can be canceled”.
As per the latest circular released on April 29, 2020, Minor class 10 board exams subjects that have no effect on student’s careers may be canceled. It doesn’t mean that all pending CBSE board exams are canceled.

The Human Development Minister Interacted live with students and teachers during the current lockdown. He addressed that rescheduled dates of board exams for class 10 students and NTA exam dates will be announced after the lockdown ends. No Raise in Tuition Fees for IITs, IIITs in the academic year 2020-21

Application Correction Window for NTA Exams Closes Next Week

Online Maths Classes from Monday for Students of Class 10

Learning is essential during these times. Realizing the need for online courses the Delhi Education Department has tied up with Khan Academy to design online math classes for students of class X.

Reschedule of Class 10 Board Exams of Tamil Nadu to be Announced After Lockdown

As per the latest updates and tweets from the Minister of School Education in Tamil Nadu states “the evaluation of class 12 answer sheets, dates for class 10 pending exams, and higher secondary admissions will be rescheduled by the Education Department after lockdown ends”.
Notice has been released for all the schools stating if any school is found to be charging fees for admission in violation of the order, necessary action will be taken against them.
