Sitaram Jindal Scholarship is an MCM based scholarship. MCM stands for Merit-Cum-Means that provide financial support to worthy and needy students so that they can achieve their academic dream easily. Sitaram Jindal Scholarship eligibility criteria 2020 

Class 11 Students and Class 12 Students

  • Students should be studying either class 11 or 12.
  • The male students should have minimum 65% marks to be eligible for Jindal Scholarship
  • The female candidate’s score should be minimum 60% to be eligible for Jindal Scholarship
  • The Karnataka students need to have a 75% score for male candidates and a 70% score for female candidates.
  • West Bengal students should have a minimum of 70% score for boy candidates and 65% for the girl candidates.
  • If an employed candidate is applying for this scholarship means his annual income should not be more than 4 lakhs.
  • Other candidates who apply for this scholarship, annual family income must be 2.5 lakhs or low.

ITI Candidates

  • The candidates must be doing ITI course in government or private institutions.
  • Male candidates must have a 50 % score.
  • Female students should have a 40% score for the scholarship.

  • Other candidates who apply for this scholarship, annual family income must be 2.5 lakhs or low.

Graduate Course

  • The students who are pursuing any graduation courses are eligible for Jindal Scholarship.

  • 55 % of the score is the minimum eligible limit for female candidates.
  • The Karnataka students need to have a 70% score for male candidates and 65% of the score for female candidates.

Documents required for Sitaram Jindal Scholarship

The applicants must attach important documents with the application form. Every document is attested by the principal/ Authorised professor is mandatory for Jindal Scholarship.

  • Photocopy of last passed examination mark sheet.
  • Photocopy of 10th and 12th mark sheet. (If Date of Birth is unavailable in the mark sheet means you should submit Date of Birth documents additionally)
  • Photocopy of income certificate. (For SSCLC/HSC and ITI, candidates must submit ration card or income document. For Graduates and Post Graduates, Diploma, Engineering & Medical candidates should submit a copy of income document issue by state government authorized officials. The income certificate not accepted if it is an issue date for more than 3 years. Income document not mandatory for who will submit their parent’s death certificate.)
  • Annual fees certificate as per Annexure-VIII
  •  Applicants should not be getting a scholarship from government and any other source, so need to submit the declaration as per Annexure XI
  • If students’ admission under government merit, quota means should be submitting a certificate as per Annexure-VII. (in case of B, Sc(Ag), B.Sc(Forestry), BVSC,  Diploma, Engineering, Medical & MBA students).
  • Candidates stay at a hostel, or private accommodation means they need to get the certificate from warden or owner as per Annexure-IV or Annexure-IX.
  • Physically challenged candidates need to submit the certificate from delegated authority.
  • For widows and Ex-servicemen, applicants must submit the following documents: i) PPO ii) Ex-servicemen and Widow I-Card iii) Relationship Province Certificate.

The eligible students can apply as per their wish, but applicants are allowed only one time to apply for this scholarship for a particular course.
