6. Keep India Smiling Foundational Grant –  For individual helping others

Eligibility for the Keep India Smiling Foundational Grant –  For individual helping others is as follows:

  • The Philanthropic activities such as providing academic education or education to underprivileged students are eligible for this scholarship
  • The candidate should belong to the weaker class of the society or underprivileged
  • The reward given in this scholarship is INR 75,000 per annum for two years

Colgate Scholarship – Terms and Conditions

Some terms and conditions by Colgate-Palmolive (India) regarding the scholarship are listed below:

  1. The Scholarship, Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Program is conducted from 6th June 2020 to 31st March 2021 by Colgate-Palmolive and is open for Indian citizens only.
  2. Applicable for candidates or students who belong economically weaker sections or below the poverty line. 
  3. The candidate should check the categories and respective eligibility criteria and then apply for the scheme.
  4. No commercial usage of the data collected while registration purpose, it is solely used for shortlisting the candidates
  5. Fitting into eligibility criteria and applying for a scholarship are just initial steps of the scholarship. This process has various steps, such as shortlisting and final selection.
  6. Regarding the non-selection of the candidate, Colgate won’t be entertaining.
  7. After the successful selection, Colgate or technology partner will approach the candidate.
  8. All the required and relevant documents should be available before/ on or after the allocated scholarship amount. The duration of the scholarship program would be fixed, as mentioned for the specific category.
  9. Colgate has the right to verify the document of the candidate with confidentiality.
  10. Colgate has the sole right to reject or disqualify any application with permitted law. They have the right to modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the scholarship. They have the right to change the program based learning, as appropriate.
  11.  The Colgate can withdraw the scholarships if any point of time it is found misleading or false information or particulars mentioned in the form has willfully hide those facts from the authority.
  12. The Colgate has the right to use the photograph and profile of the applicant for publication purpose or for communicating with the stake-holders of the Colgate or can be used in the corporate brochures, advertisements, or any other publicity materials
  13. Lack of communication due to failure or delay of internet, Telecom, or SMS any communication channel, Colgate is not responsible for the same.
  14. No commitment or intention of giving employment to the selected or successful candidates by the Colgate
  15. No registration fee or application fee is taken by the candidate. Not mandatory to buy the Colgate products for applying for the scholarship
  16. Evaluation of the scholarship program should be done in a regular interval of time by the Colgate. The consequences may be the modification or withdrawal or cancellation of the terms and conditions at the sole authority of the selection panel of Keep India Smiling Foundation Scholarship Program and CSR committee of Colgate.
  17. The person working in the company Colgate, its affiliates, or any other member of the family cannot apply or not eligible for the scholarship program.
  18. The final decision of selecting the deserving candidate for the scholarship is the last and is binding with the Colgate.
  19. If any disputes, it shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai only.

The applicant has to upload a few required documents while filling the application form are as follows:

    1. Passport-sized photograph
    2. Valid ID Proof – Aadhar Card or Driving License or Voter ID  or Pan Card
    3. Income Proof – Income Certificate/BPL certificate or any other certificate which states the income and certified by the government authority
    4. Marksheet of the class tenth / 10th
    5. Marksheet of the lastest examination and education certificate

  • Marksheet of class 10th or 12th issued by a recognized board
  • Proof of the admission to the institute or college, Fee receipt or admission letter can be used.
