Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam

Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam is a well-known scholarship examination for the students studying in class 8 to class 12. This exam is taken on a national level, and as a reward, students get a scholarship to continue the study. This exam searches for the most deserving candidates across India and helps them to finance their coaching classes that are needed to fulfill their dreams. 

Eligibility criteria

  1. Any gender is eligible.
  2. Only residents of India are allowed to take up this examination.
  3. Students studying in class 8, class 9, class 10, class 11 and class 12 are only eligible for this scholarship.

Rewards and benefits 

  1. Toppers from class 8 and 9 will be given INR 100000 if they are taking a Classroom course and INR 50000 if the course is digitalized.
  2. Rank 2 from class 8 and 9 will be given INR 75000 if they are taking a Classroom course and INR 40000 if the course is digitalized.
  3. Rank 3 from class 8 and 9 will be given INR 50000 if they are taking the Classroom course and INR 30000 if the course is digitalized.

All India Talent Scholarships Award

This is a motivating exam of scholarship for the students of class 5 to class 12 across the world. Indian residents, as well as foreign students, also undertake this exam.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Any gender is eligible to apply for this exam.
  2. International students from Bahrain, Qatar, Doha, Nigeria, Nepal, Bhutan, America, London, and Dubai are eligible.
  3. The exam groups are made in this sequence- 

A group – class 5 and 6

B group – class 7 and 8 

C group – class 9 and 10

D group – class 11 and 12.

  1. A group- certificate of brilliance, a cash reward of INR 1500.

Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme

This is a women development scheme organized and well taken care of by the Government of West Bengal. The Department of Women Development and Social Welfare handles this initiative. The age limit of the student must be between 13 years to 18 years for applying to this scheme. The motto of the scheme is to encourage girl children to study who are not very privileged. The Government of West Bengal has spent more than seven thousand crores on this scheme since 2013.

Eligibility criteria

  1. The student has to be a girl only.
  2. A resident of West Bengal.
  3. The age group of 13years to 18 years of girls falls in category 1.
  4. Girls having age of 18 to 19 years falls in category 2.

Rewards and benefits

The annual scholarship amount of this scheme is INR 750 until the girl reaches 18 years of age. The one time grant for this scheme is INR 25000.

National Cyber Olympiad

The National Cyber Olympiad is an Olympiad exam based on knowledge related to cyber concepts. Students from class 1 to class 12 are eligible. The SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) organizes the National Cyber Olympiad. The only motto of this Olympiad exam is to find out the hidden talents across the world and support the potential technologists and scientists.

Eligibility criteria

  1. All the Indians are eligible 
  2. The student has to be in class 1 to class 12.
  3. Each school must register at least 5 students from their school.
  4. No individual student can apply for this scholarship.

Rewards and benefits

  1. National Cyber Olympiad topper will get INR 50000 cash prize, a gold medal, and a certificate of appreciation.
  2. Rank 2 will get INR 25000 each that will be awarded to twelve-second position holders, a certificate of appreciation, and a silver medal.
  3. Rank 3 will be given to 12 students, and each student gets INR 10000, a bronze medal, and a certificate of appreciation.

Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts this exam on two dates- 20 December 2020 and 31st December 2020

National Level Science Talent Examination

This is a National level talent search exam for the science students. The Union Council organizes this. This requires the student to do registration on the date as mentioned by the official site. Question papers are available in English only

Eligibility criteria

  1. Students from class 2 to class 12 can apply for this exam.
  2. Students with the PCM or PCB combination can apply for this exam.
  3. PCMB in class 11 and class 12 is not a suitable one for this exam.

Rewards and benefits

  1. NSTSE topper will get INR 200000 cash prize.
  2. Top three Rank holders will get a laptop, memento, and medal.
  3. From rank 4 to 10, the students will get INR 15000 each.
  4. Rank 11 to rank 25 is rewarded INR 10000 each.
  5. Rank 26 to Rank 100 is awarded the books of Talent and Olympiad Exams from M/s Brain Mapping academy.

Yale Global Scholarship 

This scholarship is organized by Yales University for the students whose age is in between 15 to 17 years. The applying student must be having at least 2 years left before passing high school. 

Eligibility criteria

  1. The age limit of the participant must be between 15 to 17 years.
  2. The participant is expected to have more than 2 years before passing out high school.

Rewards and benefits

The reward for winning this scholarship is reimbursement of 100% tuition fees.

Ryan Merit Cum Means Scholarship

This is a scholarship exam for the students of class 8 to class 12. This scholarship aims towards helping the meritorious and underprivileged students who are deserving but having a lack of financial support.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Class 8 to class 12 students can take part.
  2. The percentage of marks scored in the last exam has to be at least 80%.
  3. INR 200000 is the maximum family income to be eligible.

Rewards and benefits 

  1. There will be a selection of 10 students.
  2. All the 10 students will be awarded INR 10000 each.

NASA Ames Space Settlement Contest

This is a scholarship exam for the students of class 7 to class 12, NASA Ames Space Settlement Contest gives the students the chance to know more about NASA and to learn about Space settlement designs.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Students from class 7 to class 12 are all eligible.
  2. Students irrespective of their nationality can apply for this scholarship.
  3. Individuals, small teams require 2-5 members; large teams need to have a minimum of 6 members to be eligible.

Rewards and benefits

  1. Every winner gets a NASA certificate
  2. The grand prize will be offered to the group, which shows the best submission. The best submission will be published on the website of the NASA Ames WWW site.
  3. The best team will get $3000 and the award of NSS Bruce Clark and junior Memorial space settlement.
  4. For the teams, either large or small, the scholarship amount will be divided equally among the team members.

This is a national scholarship exam that is initiated by the Ministry of Women and Child Development under the Indian Government. They invite applications from students who have exceptional performance in academics, sports, design, art, and culture. Eligibility criteria

  1. The participating candidate must be a resident of India
  2. There is an age limit to this. The limit is from 5 to 18 years.
  3. The merit-based scholarship looks for innovation.
  4. The fields of innovation can be any such as art, sports, culture, music, social science, the top position in math for 2 consecutive years, and many more. The field can be anything that deserves to be appreciated and encouraged.

Ajmal National Talent Search Examination

This is a Talent search examination initiated by Ajmal Foundation. Ajmal Foundation is a registered trust for public charity. Ajmal National Talent Search Examination is also called ANTS examination, the exam is taken for the students of class 3, and the last limit is graduation. Students from all the fields can apply for this scholarship examination. Field of studies included for taking up this exam is Medical, Law, Engineering, Computer Science, management, and so on. The focus of the scholarship exam is to support the students of North Eastern states.

Eligibility criteria

  1. For being eligible to apply, the student must be fully a whole time student.
  2. From Class 3 to graduation, any student can apply.
  3. The student must belong to the North-Eastern states.

How to apply for renewal of scholarship?

Many students face difficulty while renewing their existing scholarship, so for them, these are the simple guidelines that will help them to fill up the scholarship renewal form and leave no scope for mistakes.

  1. The student must check that he/she fulfills the basic criteria, which is the attendance has to be a minimum of 75% in the last academic year.
  2. If the first criteria are satisfied, the student has to search out the respective portal of the ongoing scholarship.
  3. Log in with your ID into the official site of the scholarship.
  4. The portal will bring out pop-ups for you to enter your valid details like your application ID and other relevant documents, including attendance proof.
  5. You must not enter any wrong details, which can result in rejection.
  6. After you log in into the official site, check for new notifications if any available to update yourself about the recent changes which you must know.
  7. Update your correct details as you fill-up the renewal application, keep in mind that wrong details will disqualify you and your application will be canceled.
  8. After checking all the details twice, click on the submit button. 
  9.  Now check the dashboard of the portal and see for your application.
  10.  Click on the application and see the status.
  11.  You will get the print out option there when you get the application form, which has been submitted by you already.
  12.  Keep the print out of the updated scholarship form for future reference.
