Types of Scholarships for all scholarship for class 12 students

1. College Admission Scholarship Application (CASA)

CASA is the most known and beneficial scholarship for 12th passed students. The advantage of the scholarship has mainly shortlisted applicants based on the merits.

Eligibility criteria

  • Students should have passed the 12th class from the CBSE, ICSE, or any recognized board.
  • Students who are willing to apply for Post-Graduation with Graduation qualification.
  • Recognizable institute of admissions must be AICTE or UGC Rewards and benefits.
    • No fee for the application.
    • Apart from the scholarship, students can avail Rs. 10,000 from the University.

2. NSF Scholarship

NSF is a scholarship for students who have passed class 12 exams successfully. Students interested in engineering, medicine, polytechnics are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The major eligibility criteria for applying for this scholarship falls under the merit list.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students should be among the top 10% of class 10, 12, CET/NEET/JEE ranks in their state.
  • Admissions to any higher educations under government or government-aided college.
  • Annual family income< INR 1,00,000
  • Students should not be availing any other scholarship.

Rewards and Benefits

  • Over 1500 students will be receiving scholarships around INR 8000 to 25,000.

3. CCRT Scholarship

CCRT is the scholarship that encourages talented students who are not able to pursue further studies due to a lack of financial support. The Ministry of Culture under the Government of India provides it.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational background should be any of the arts, culture, music, painting, etc.

Rewards and Benefits

  • Scholars who are selected will receive INR 3,600 per annum
  • The tuition fee will be reimbursed up to INR 9000

4. INSPIRE Scholarship

INSPIRE scholarship is the scholarship for meritorious students who are interested in studying Bachelors’s and Master’s degrees in Basic sciences.

This scholarship is organized by SHE and implemented under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students passed in class 12 (top 1% of aggregate)
  • Top 10,000 rankers of AIEEE/AIPTM
  • Aged between 17-22

  • INR 60,000 per annum is rewarded to selected scholars
  • INR 20,000 is given for summer project fee in research

5. NEST Scholarship 2020

The scholarship is available for students of classes 9, 10, 11, 12, and Diploma students.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students should have passed classes 9, 10, 11 and 12
  • It must be from the English medium.

Rewards and Benefits

  • Certificate of appreciation to all students who have scored above 40%
  • INR 75,000 for rank #1 and INR 30,000 for top 10 rankers in NEST-JR1
  • INR 1,00,000 for rank #1 and INR 40,000 for top 10 rankers in NEST-JR2

6. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship

The scholarship is named on behalf of Prof. Joseph from Kerala. This scholarship is especially for minority students.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Family income should be less than eight lakhs.
  • Passed 12th from Government aided schools.
  • Students should be natives of Kerala

Rewards and Benefits

  • Students with 80% above marks in UG will be rewarded INR 15,000
  • Students with 75% above in PG will be rewarded INR 15,000

7. AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls

AICTE Pragati Scholarship is the scholarship implemented by the Government of India, especially for girls who are interested in studying technical studies.

Benefits

  • INR 30,000 tuition fees will be waived by providing necessities to study.
  • The examination fee will be paid.

8. PM Narendra Modi Scholarship for 12th pass students

The PM Narendra Modi has implemented this scholarship. It is available for all the eligible Indian students who passed the 10th or 12th classes.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Family income should be less than six lakhs
  • Aged between 18-25
  • Not applied for any professional degree scholarship

Rewards and Benefits

  • The student will get INR 1000 every month for up to 10 months for students who have passed with 75% on the 12th. The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the registered account of the student.
  • For students who passed 12th with 85% will get a scholarship of INR 25,000 every month.

9. Schindler Igniting Minds Scholarship

It is available for class 10 students, along with class 12 passed students who are interested in studying higher studies further.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualified 10th and 12th class students
  • Diploma students who cleared every backlog

Rewards and Benefits

  • INR 20,000 per month will be awarded to the student.

10. Foundation for Excellence (FFE) Scholarship

The excellent scholarship is for the excellent scholars who aspire to perform excellently further but has a poor family background.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualified students of 10, 12 classes.
  • Studies of B.E, B.Tech, and MBBS are eligible.

  • Financial and other academic assistance will be provided.

11. Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Ignite Awards

National Innovation Foundation, an autonomous body of the Department of Science, has founded a contest to encourage and help the students who are creative and aspire to be innovative.

  • Any student interested in arts, culture, or any innovations.

  • Awards for innovations will be announced on the celebration day.

12. National Scholarship Test (NST)

NST gives the opportunity to show off the talent of the students who always chase their dream careers. It also supports these students to overcome financial hurdles.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any student from 5th to 12th classes

Rewards and Benefits

  • Five thousand students will be selected and receive the amount as reward-based on ranks scored.
  • The total amount for the rewards spent is of INR 3.5 crores for 5000 students.

13. Combined Counselling Board (CCB) Scholarship

The boards, including UGC, AICTE, and MHRD, are united to implement the increase of this scholarship to the students.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to every student
  • Minimum marks should be 50-60%

  • A maximum of 4 lakh rupees will be rewarded.

How to apply for a scholarship?

  • Visit the official website or institute in person.
  • Fill the form.
  • Upload the necessary documents.
  • Retrieve the receipt if applied at an institute.
  • Take the print out of documents and submit them to school or respective authorities.

Scholarship Renewal Steps

The student has to fill the scholarship renewal form every year. Only those students who score more than 50% marks in their class 12th entrance exams are eligible for renewal of scholarship.
