Never Give Up | Essay for Children

December 17, 2017 by Study Mentor Leave a Comment

‘Tough times don’t last but tough men do’ this is the motto of my life which I swear by Tough times will come but it is you who is responsible for breaking down under harsh circumstances. If one door closes, the next door will open up. But the condition is that you never have to stop searching for that door.

Life may put you down hundreds of times but you have to rebel and get up thousands of times you needed to. You have to do this for yourself, life is a name of working hard to acquire your ambitions.

I have seen many examples of people with unbreakable determination breaking off the cages to fly high into the sky to taste their ambitions. Never give up on anything that you feel is right. It might be a small task, a career choice, a life changing decision or a relationship.

But you should strive undeterred on your path till you achieve your goal. Obviously, there will be a lot of hardships in your path but you should stop at nothing but your destination. It takes a lot of patience, perseverance and hard work to kiss the pinnacles of success but when you are determined you can achieve your objectives.

Believe me; your passion will take you places you have never seen. It will open up many doors for you which hide behind them an exquisite plethora of experiences. Don’t let anyone dull your charm just because they do not see the spark in you.

Your life is in your hands and you can change your life by your own decisions. We say that our future is set in stone; in some pieces of paper which we call ‘Kundli’ or lilnes in our hands and feet. But the truth is that we have the power to change our destiny. But that is only possible when we work hard.

The millionaires or billionaires we see today are not a product of one day. They made themselves constantly through their blood and sweat. It is not as if they did not encounter any failures or setbacks, they also had personnel and financial problems to deal with but what matters is that they didn’t stop.

They worked ostentatiously round the clock to sustain themselves in a competitive environment. In the modern times, the labor and routine work is not relaxes much. It is the ideas and differential skills for which a person is paid. But to reach that pedestal in life, we need to be strong willed to achieve our objectives.

While climbing up the ladder of success, even if you fall down one or two rungs; make sure to muster up more forces to climb it in an even more fierce way. That time nothing will pull you down.

Failures are just like stepping storms. Till we don’t experience failure, we can never feel the sense of accomplishment that one experiences at the accomplishment of an objective. Lessons from failures should be taken in good spirit. One should not sit in denial and distress about being unsuccessful.

But they should give a message for the future to never repeat those mistakes again. We are all humans and we all have made our fair share of mistakes. But failure does not matter as long as we learn the lesson and work on our shortcomings.

It is our duty to put our heart and soul in every task we do. A task done half-friendly will never give good and satisfactory results. We should always strive for perfection and excellence. Even if we do achieve the results at that moment; our hard work never goes waste and always pays out in some or the other ways in the future.

This quotation reminds me about the colonization of India by Britishers. We Indians strived continuously for about 200 years to claim back what was ours. But we never give up. Many leaders and patriots laid their lives for our nation but their sacrifice was not wasted. People revolted with all their strength against Britishers and ultimately tasted independence.

Young hearts like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru did not flinch to give their lives on a platter for the freedom of their nation. It might have taken several attempts on the part of India nationalists to gain freedom but they kept going. Even when there was no India; and only princely states here and there the kings did everything in their power to prevent the kingdom from falling captive to the enemy flag.

Life is a naming of incessantly moving forward. It does not wait for anybody. We will receive many setbacks in life but it is up to us how we handle them and get up. The catch is you get up with even more energy and achieve your goal. But sitting in stress, lamenting over the setback will do more harm than good.

‘Dreams are not what haze may sleep in night but dreams are those which do not let me sleep in night’. This is a very famous quote by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He asks us to work hard for our dreams. He asks us to not give up on our passion just because of some momentary problems.

Instead we should overcome them to see on the pedestal we one imagined we would stand on. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s attachment to his dreams led to the development of a scientific India. We actually owe it to his dreams that we have the India we see today.

Have you ever seen a child trying to stand up on his two feet’s? He takes the help of parent’s hands railings and every other thing which he can use as a support. He even falls down multiple times. But does he stop? No. Eventually after some time he learns how to walk.

When a small child can determinately achieve his goals, why not we? We have the power and time in the world to acquire what we want. But it is upon us to harness our energy in the right direction. And then, we definitely will achieve our goals.
