Joint Entrance Examination which is popularly known as JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam that acts as a gateway for admissions into B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning courses in India. Candidates who wish to secure undergraduate admissions in top institutes like IIITs, NITs, CFTIs, and other top colleges will have to clear the JEE Main exam along with specified cutoff by the officials. JEE Main exam also acts as a qualifying exam to appear in the JEE Advanced exam. Those students who qualify for JEE Advanced exam can get admission in IITs. JEE Main Exam is conducted by the officials of NTA (National Testing Agency) every year. From the year 2021, the JEE Main exam is conducted in 4 Phases (January, February, March, and April). The JEE Main 2020 exam will be conducted in Online mode that is Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam with Maths & Physics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biology are eligible to appear for this exam.
Every year before the conduction of the JEE Main exam, the officials of NTA will release the JEE Main Brochure which consists of all the information about the JEE Main Exam Pattern, Syllabus, and procedure to appear in the JEE examination. Those candidates who wish to appear in JEE Main exam will have to register themselves online at the official website of NTA. The officials will notify the exam dates of JEE Main to candidates by issuing the admit card or hall ticket for registered candidates. Within the conclusion of the exam, the officials will release the JEE Main Result, with the help of which candidates will come to know if they are qualified in the examination or not.
