Being a star in 21st century is something not everyone can achieve. You got to have the guts, the talent, precision and charisma.
If you fail to entertain your viewers, you may end up being an ordinary, low grade actor. If glamour world is the cake, a star is the icing to it.
What is it to be a Star?
In earlier days, working in films was considered as a taboo and like today, films were not much worshipped earlier. Now, every actor aims to be a ‘star’ rather than an ordinary actor. Why? Well that’s how times have changed.
So, the main thing that comes up into our minds is that what does it feel or how is it to be a star? How much fan do they have, how much money do they make, how much Twitter or Instagram followers do they have?
But originally, the level of your fandom doesn’t only depend upon how much money you make or how much followers you have. It depends upon your attitude.
The right attitude can take you to right places in the glamour world, whereas if you cross the fine line between ‘attitude’ and ‘arrogance’, you’re all damned up.
All the fame, the followers, the money will be gone. Keeping the right attitude and showing it whenever and wherever needed is the key for becoming a successful star.
The next key feature which differentiates a ‘star’ from any other ‘actor’ is Charisma.
If you Google up the word Charisma you’ll get to know that it is ‘compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others’. Well, that holds true. When you’re a star, you have that aura, you have that charm.
People will be drawn towards you, big companies will be signing you up as a brand ambassador, you’ll be known all across the globe. Why? Because you have that aura. That is what makes you different from other actors.
Also, Hard work. That is a very important aspect when it comes to being successful. You got to be working 30 hours continuously, without getting tired. Well, that’s what they expect from a Star!
A very striking example of a Star can be, well one of my favourite, the female supermodel, Bella Hadid. She is the perfect example of right attitude, hard work and charisma.
If one goes through her work schedule, they’ll find that she works for 4 months straight taking a break of 1 weekend following those 4 months.
If I were a Star
Well, when it comes to be the star yourself, most of the people don’t like it as the work is pretty hectic, it takes out all your energy and you return home with a tired body and mind at the end of the day.
Then again, I’ll mention, there’s a difference between the life of an actor and the life of a star.
If I would have been a star, I would have kept my focus on my career. Becoming a Star isn’t easy, so you can’t just take that position casualty and just be bragging about it all the time.
I would never let my Ego come in my way, as ego is something that eats up a person, slowly but steadily. In any field, whether it is being a scientist or a sportsperson, ego plays a very major role.
The day you let your ego to show up, is the day your downfall will start. If I would’ve been a star, I would have kept my ego aside and would have focused in my career instead.
A Star is someone who stays busy all the time but needs to find time for himself or herself. If I would’ve been a Star, I would find some time for myself and would have focused on physical and mental fitness.
When you have too much going through your mind every day, you need to relax. The best way to relax is meditation which releases all the negative energy piled up on you.
Completing my Bucket List
Bucket List is the list if tasks or list if wishes you want to complete or achieve during your lifetime. My bucket list is full of tasks which require money. After being a Star, I would try completing my wishes.
Travelling to Norway just to see the Northern Lights, having a vacation in Antarctica, spending some days in NASA in zero gravity conditions, own my private jet plane, owning an anime themed restaurant and café and many more.
Shopping is on the top of my bucket list. Gucci, Prada, Marks and Spencer, Zara, H&M would’ve flooded my wardrobe with their best collection. Also, the best collection of footwear would belong to me.
It is not all about yourself
Most if the Stars get too blinded by the glamorous world around them that they forget to do something for their society. They forget that it’s not all about yourself but is about other also.
If I would have been a Star, I would have completed my childhood dream of opening an old age home and an orphanage.
As a kid, I always felt bad for old people who were thrown out of their houses by their own children. I always wanted to help them and make them realise that they aren’t useless.
In the old age home, they can interact to similar people like them, play games, engage in various activities and be happy.
Also, for kids an orphanage which would provide them with all the necessities related to their day to day activities, their education there.
Aiming for the Best
At last but not the least, when you are a Star, you should focus on being a Superstar. I would’ve kept an eagle eye focus and would’ve become a Superstar by my hard work, perseverance and of course the right type of attitude.
I would have tried to be in cover pages of most of the popular magazines, the brand ambassador of the best brands around and all the huge banners and posters around there.
