Have you ever thought regarding the different kinds of violence that pervades our space? Violence is also one of the most dominant traits of human nature. In fact, the nature and narration of violence is inbuilt in our society. There is a constant tussle between efforts towards attaining peace and the planning/plotting against the disruption and distortion of peace.
In fact, violence can be defined as the distortion of the prevalent peace. That is why, the concept of demons is highly essential to understand. This has been prevalent in the various kinds of myths and stories as well. Human nature is a mixture of good and evil both. What makes an individual good and what makes a person turn into evil can never be understood in a subjective manner.
There is no definite way to understand good and evil. However, in order to understand as to why evil is so engrained in the society, one has to understand the politics behind the discourse of violence. Violence spreads its tentacles faster than peace shrouds itself.
We have been listening to the stories of the famous villain and devilish characters like that of Ravana, Kans and other various bad people. One common trait among all the villainous characters is that they all divert towards violence.
In fact, all kinds of destruction associated with such villains have been personified as the evils in overall human nature. When the evil in the human nature supersedes the goodness inherent, the repercussions come out in the form of violence.
Now, there are various kinds of reasons as to why, evil supersede goodness. These reasons vary from just to unjust ones. However, be it just or unjust, the method of violence is never individual oriented. It is never limited to the people who plan it.
In fact, the dominant politics behind the spread of violence is that it targets even the innocent lives. The different sections of people who are not even a part of the respective master plans also have to suffer. They become a kind of scapegoats without even being informed about it.
It is here where the tragedy of violence lies. If we think about all kinds of battles in the history, the struggle, the bloodshed, the suffering has never been limited to handful master planners. Rather, a huge bunch of people, soldiers and children had to face the trauma.
Irrespective of the motive behind the violence varying from protecting one’s land, community and people to being revengeful, the effects are highly traumatic and it takes years to come over such an experience. The entire psychology behind such a concept is different.
The entire humanitarian element in humans is lost and they become too wild to be controlled. That is why, nobody thinks about what belies ahead violence. Be it the fight for freedom or for asking for rights or for merely spreading fear among people in order to dominate, violence has different kinds of methods and different kinds of modus operand is involved in order to establish the respective demands.
The forms can be that of battles, protests, and hunger strikes, hijacking trains, buses and planes. One of the methods is the use of the bombs. There is special involvement of people to make bombs. Bombs are the most violent form of spreading violence.
There are special bombs squads to diffuse the complicated models. The main motive behind installation of bombs is to wipe off an entire group of people at once. This instils fear and madness among the remaining people who become highly vulnerable.
This is the way in which war psychology works which believes in weakening the people by showing them violence on others.
Another thing that the bomb installers keep in mind is that they target public places where people are found in abundance in order to create the horror at once. Trains are one such platform which has multiple bogies and people from all sections are found together.
Bomb blast in a train is a well planned action that takes into consideration huge part of the population to be wiped off. There have been various films that portray how bombs in trains are installed and how ruckus as well as chaos is created among people to the extent of respective forced submission.
There are even suicide bombers who are sent on a mission to kill people and in the process get killed as well. In such cases, such suicide bombers sit amidst the passengers in the trains and blast themselves, the people around and the train as well. Trains have various stoppages and accordingly the action is planned.
This is the reason there is much of security in the respective railway stations and the platforms. If any unattended bag is kept on the platform or in a train, the security squads are immediately employed in order to check it.
So many lives are destroyed. So many families are destroyed in such a method of creating violence. The respective motives are fulfilled. Fear gets instilled in the minds of the people. But, all these things are begotten at the altar of so many lives and involve so much of destruction.
The effects of such bomb blasts not only affect the public space, but also intrude the private spaces by destructing the respective families. The bomb not only blasts human beings, it blasts all the aspirations, dreams and hopes of the people connected with the people who die in such a catastrophe.
Gradually, the element of humanness is getting lost and people are becoming more and more violent. Peace has just become a theoretical concept as the theory is not being converted into praxis. The inclination is more towards either indifference or violence.
People completely believe in non existence of peace. That is why; there is an increase in bomb blast in a train at every second place. Trains are no more safer and neither are other means of transport because they are being converted into spots of establishing violence.
Better and stringent security is required in order to curb such episodes of destruction. There is a need to spread an awareness in order to believe and practice peace. Else, human beings will become demons at their best, demons who do not believe in humanity, demons that are always ready to uproot the basic human trait of sympathy and love for fellow beings.
Each bomb blast is symbolic of the fact that humans are misusing their power, power which should be used for the good of the people which is presently being used to destroy the entire humanity.
