Essay on An Animal I Would Be (995 Words)

March 3, 2018 by Study Mentor Leave a Comment

Birth of a human is result of many good deeds done in previous birth. The world-wide theory has proved that humans evolved from ape species.

Over the decades, the evolution took place and present human body evolved from that of an ape`s structure.

Tails disappeared and the standing postures changed. The bended back of human got straight and we started walking on two feet.

Even the position of eyes on face has undergone change. During early age eyes where situated on the sides of face so that, the then existing species could look in both the sides at same time.

This is a trait of hunter which nomadic early men were. With evolution, the cut of face changed and the eyes got their present day position.

It enables human to look forward, upward and downward but both the eyes work in co – ordination with each other.

The size of human brain grew and so does its ability to develop new inventions. From nomads, they developed to hi-tech geeks. New innovations brought in new facilities and new problems.

Trapped in their own problems, human have no time to look back. They only want to move ahead. They want to grow not in terms of humanity but only in terms of prosperity.

Human desires are the key motivational force behind any innovation. But at times facet of desires changes and complete transformation from species to another is more desirable.

Everyone at some point on their life had these desires. Depression does take troll on human. Some restore to drugs to come out from this feeling. Other opts for gambling. Some goes to rescue of gurus for their verdicts and moral teaching.

But when I am depressed, I have feeling that I shouldn’t have been human at all. I feel like being an elephant. There are so many qualities of an elephant that lure me to be that.

First of all, the size itself is very enticing. An elephant can walk freely in their natural habitat as they have no other predator other than human beings.

Their enormous size poses enough of threat to most of wild animals. Their enormous size clears path. They make new ways for other to follow.

New vegetation springs up on these paths leading way for new life to come into existence. Similarly people should leave the past forgetting and forgiving the wrong doer.

They should look for good qualities in other. Optimism should lead way of human as hope has size of an elephant. People who are pessimist, leaves the life of dead vegetation.

Elephants play and bathe in water pools for hours without being worried about time wastage. They walk leisurely for hours to find their perfect rest place.

The rush and hush is root cause of problems that human being face in their day today life. During their childhood there are in hurry to grow up.

When they grew up, they are in hurry to earn maximum in minimum time frame. This struggle against time makes them grow older even the faster.

In old age when they are capable enough to realize that time was been wasted running from one corner to another, they have little time left to enjoy life.

The only worry of elephant species is the proper and adequate supply of food. They are very adaptable to living habitat.

When they move to new place in search of food they make themselves comfortable there too. This trait is best in elephant.

We as human too, should have this adaptability trait. Half of the human problems will end up once contentedness mounts up in human nature.

Not only are the elephants enormous in size, they are very wise animal too. Since they are herbivorous animals they hardly harm any other animal in jungles.

They pull down trees and break up thorny bushes. As a result, they create grasslands and salt licks in order to make other animals’ lives easier to survive in their environment.

Their final role is that they create water holes by digging in dry river beds.

Strength of elephant is its biggest advantage. They can uproot even fully grown trees. Similarly human should learn to face their problems without trying to escape them.

The inner convictions of human are of the size of elephant. They enable him/her to face even the torments.

Elephant droppings act as a fertilizer, which is import to improve the soil condition. Their tusks are of great value.

Ivories used in making Jewellery and  sold for good deal of money. Elephant are subjected to illegal poaching as this mammal has various benefits to human species.

The only threat to elephant is human species. We, human being, cage this enormous creature to carry loads.

They tied up with iron chains and made to stand in small cages. Their quantities of food are controlled and are not allowed to roam about.

One should learn from elephants the quality feeling of family bonding. They live in herds which is led by oldest and often the largest female of herd.

They also display signs of grief, joy, anger and play. The male of herd often leaves it and lives in company of other elephants.

Where by female display their strength and led the herd. Same way as when the necessity arise a female leads the family by bringing up kids.

She meets all the financial requirements of family. She works tirelessly for the protection and betterment of her family.

Same is case for human. Human poses the great threat for fellow human being. There is throat cut competition amongst same species.

People fight for namesake. They have issues for property ownership. They are never contented with what they have. Instead they are jealous of what their fellow has.

We should learn from these animals that god has provided enough means to carry own everyone`s life.

We should not meddle with our fellow and should let the peace prevails. In fact, we should give our best to environment to safeguard it, protect it from getting deteriorated.
